My cricket career - Saad Shareef

Cricket is a well known sport in India. I think it is up to us to play this sport and take it forward.i believe I am good in this sport. I have been playing for 7 years , now I am in the school team and batting 2down I am also the captain for my schools after school team.

Firstly, I am the captain of my schools after school team.

On a Wednesday afternoon. Our cricket coach told me that I am the captain of my team. The players in my team were aditya, devesh, Aryan,krishan,veer and some of my other friends .

After the match my coach told me I did great captaincy .

My team and I restricted them only to 81 runs in 15 overs the opposition hit only 1 boundrie.

While batting our team was on fire.

With the help of my team we won the match.

Secondly, I bat 2 down in the batting order.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon we had our first match against JACA.

 I was going 5 down .this match was the changing point of my career, from 5 down to 2 down. My favorite player AB Deviliers goes  2 down.

After winning the match I asked sir

“sir why am I not 2 down” he said “you want it you have to earn it”.

After hearing that I practiced for 1 year I didn’t go for selections too. I did everything possible to improve my batting. Now I am batting 2down for under 12 and under 14.

Lastly, I started playing cricket at the age of 4.

I would play with anyone who was free and willing to play with me.I started playing in the streets of Bangalore . when my cousin used to play I used to go and ask for batting. They would role the ball I would miss but when I touch it I would screm in joy. Now iam batting 2 down in the school team.
