I Leave Things For The Last minute By ishaan Hinduja

Ishan Hinduja                                                                                                             Personal Essay 6C
Many people don't realize things about me. Some things that are so obvious nobody can see it, but I really do not pride myself on that I am the kind of person who does everything at the last moment when: I have a big project due, I have work to do, there are far away deadlines to meet. Why: There is only one thing to do. I am lazy. I don't feel like working until I realize I will get in trouble. So, here are a few examples.
1) One day I had to pick up my cousin-brother from America (Fernando) from the airport extremely early in the morning. My Mom woke me and my brother up (my sister did not want to go). So we got dressed and went downstairs to the car. When we saw him we all gave him a hug and then went to the car to go home. (I had completely forgotten about school that day.) When we got home we had 2 extra hours, so instead of sleeping we helped Fernando unpack, and we played games on his i-pad. Our driver was picking us up that day. When I had to go up for my shower it was 5 to 6:30, so I rushed up and had my shower and got in the car. We made it right before the bell. I realized that I should have my shower earlier rather than later. As I say this I realize that I should try and be more hygienic.
2) One day my Biology teacher gave the whole class a project that was due in a few weeks. In those few weeks I had completely forgotten about the project, so knowing me, I remembered about it at the last minute. I was panicking so much, but luckily my Mom and Dad calmed me down and told me to do it then. So at the end I finished the project and went to sleep at about 11:30. I realized that if I focused on my work I actually might have remembered to do it earlier. As I say this I realize that I should try and be less lazy.
3) One day my English teacher gave the whole class a worksheet but she gave me an extra one because my brother was absent (that I had to give him THAT Day!!!) When I got home I completely forgot about it so the next day during my English class he came and took it from me. I realized that I should get my brain checked. As I say this I realize that I should try and be less careless.
I realize that doing my work at the last minute makes me lazy and inconsiderate. Saying that I should really get my act together or else I will end up as a hobo living in a hole in the street with 28 cats wondering how it all happened.
