Being Positive by Neha Ganjur

BEING POSITIVE

Why be a positive person you may ask…It's not only the best feeling , but also many other things I will take you through in this essay. Being positive means being happy, even if you’re happy crying. In this essay you will get to know ‘how to be happy’ and what are the good things it can do.

I shall start with the most important reason/way-finding the better side of things, be it  a human  or even a nonliving thing.
During school (in 4th grade)I cried because I felt like school was just a colorful jail, this is what I used to think about school…when I should have looked at the better side of it giving me education. But then again if I got  ‘too obsessed’  I would’ve gotten way too attached.

Secondly being positive and happy makes finding friends a lot easier. Being happy/positive means being neutral according to me of course. Positivity is contagious. ~IT SPREADS LIKE WILDFIRE~

I   was always told to treat other how I wanted to be treated. And I all I wanted was to be treated in a very welcoming manner. So that’s what inspired me to become nicer and more positive (at least I tried to be as positive as I could!).This is how its makes  finding friends easier.

Last but  not the least is –the way being positive helps become a person with a stress free kind of life! here’s how-the more positive you think the less stressful things you think about.

Some people perform yoga for the positivity it offers. This make their lives calm and less stressful.
You may think that I’m lying but like any other personal essay I have my evidence. It is scientifically proven that optimism can improve the immune system, prevent chronic bronchitis and help cope with the unfortunate news one may receive .

When it offers  all this ,why not try it?

Being positive affects you both mentally and physically! Many people have died because they were not surrounded by positive people.

And now since you know why I try being positive and its perks maybe you will try it too(not that you have’nt already…you are so positive you gave my essay a chance!!!)
.Actually try being as positive as possible and I know there will always be moments when life will need you to be negative.So keep that smile going and  remember to look at things in a way that makes it look better than it  ever will!
